I have a new hand lettered watercolor Irish Blessing available at my Etsy shop!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
This is a made-to-order listing for a hand lettered Irish Blessing, embellished with watercolor paints on watercolor paper. The oval border around the prayer is a celtic knot painted with two watercolor paints that create an attractive mixture of colors, and outlined with black ink. This artwork would be a special keepsake for a child or loved one. It is 5×7″, and will be matted to a white core beveled edge mat, with an 8×10″ finished size (frame not included).
This Irish Blessing artwork can be personalized with your color scheme of choice for the celtic knot border – you can select from among the many different color schemes I offer. Note that the Purple-Ultramarine color scheme shown in the pictures is a special one created just for this piece, so it is not yet presented in the color chart.
An Irish Blessing
May God give you…
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
